MONICA VINADER - SIGNATURE BANGLE

SIGNATURE

With the success of the Fiji bangle, Monica and the product team wanted to develop a bangle to wear alongside it and continue the hype. This was the biggest product launch of the year for the brand and happened in two stages. The first being the ‘Introduction to The Signature Bangle’ and the second being a collaboration with fashion illustrator Jenny Walton. The results were huge and customers were queueing up through the festive period to purchase their bangle.

Vinyl Application

Vinyl was applied to stores globally using the Frank Stella inspired lined in metallic gold, with the smaller bangle and copy vinyl. Also, larger stores had the silhouette of the bangle either in half or in full without any copy.

Lightboxes & Digital Screens

In-store, lightboxes were utilised to advertise the new bangle. Within department stores, shown here in Harrods, digital screens were used to guide traffic to the shop-in-shops.

Website Pages

Website pages were created to support the campaign with bespoke video produced by TANK and featured at the top of this page.

Printed Materials

The below insert was placed into every box containing a Signature bangle, detailing care instructions as well as design inspiration. We also created a leaflet to sit at till points and sent out to press giving information on the whole collection.

Jenny Walton Exhibition

Fashion illustrator Jenny Walton was commissioned to create a series of illustrations depicting women in situations where they would wear the new bangle. Exhibitions of the work were created in New York and London. The stores were enhanced with printed curtains sealing off the exhibition area; vitrines were given backdrops of crops of the illustration and the vinyls were updated. I created all of the signage, exhibition imagery, vitrines and vinyls.

Jenny Walton Influencer & Press Events

Dinners were held to celebrate the collaboration, for which we designed signage, invitations, napkins and menus.

The Results

Signature bangle became:

• New bestselling product, which continued to grow

• Most requested in-store item

• Gained wide spread media coverage and hype

• Gave the need to develop new lines within the Signature range
